Legacy and Luxury: Terracotta Warriors experience partnering with Crown Perth

15 Sep 2025

Perth is being swept up in the legacy of ancient China, as the blockbuster exhibition Terracotta Warriors: Legacy of the First Emperor takes centre stage at the WA Museum Boola Bardip.

In a dynamic collaboration, Crown Perth, the WA Museum, and the Foundation for the WA Museum have joined forces to bring this world-exclusive exhibition to life, extending its impact well beyond the museum walls.

This three-party partnership marks a departure from traditional sponsorship models, delivering a suite of bespoke initiatives that blend cultural storytelling with hospitality, community engagement and visitor experience.

One standout example is at Crown Perth, where four full-size replica Terracotta Warriors are on display outside the Crown Towers ballrooms until the end of November. The warrior replicas offer visitors a chance to encounter these iconic figures up close - building anticipation for the exhibition at the WA Museum Boola Bardip, and sparking conversations about one of history’s most enduring archaeological wonders.

Crown Perth’s support ensures that visitors to the state have access to a tailored accommodation packages, developed to compliment the exhibition. Guests can unwind in a Deluxe King Room at Crown Towers or a Luxe King Room at Crown Metropol (complete with valet parking) after a day exploring the exhibition.

WA Museum members also benefit from exclusive accommodation offers, making it easy to plan a staycation or mini-break right here in Perth.

Acting CEO of the WA Museum, Jason Fair, said, “An exhibition of the scale and significance of Terracotta Warriors is made even more successful through collaborative partnerships. Partnering with a luxury brand like Crown Perth not only elevates the visitor experience but also highlights the broader value international exhibitions bring to Western Australia’s tourism and hospitality sectors.”

Brian Pereira, Crown Perth CEO said, “We’re proud to be able to collaborate with the WA Museum and the Foundation for the WA Museum to combine luxury hospitality with this incredible cultural experience. We have a proud track record of supporting and developing tourism and entertainment in Perth, delighting Western Australians and visitors alike for almost 40 years.

The Foundation for the WA Museum praised the partnership for its innovation and depth. “This is more than support - it’s true engagement,” Coralie Bishop, Chief Executive Officer of the Foundation for the WA Museum said. “We’ve worked closely with Crown Perth and the WA Museum team to shape unique touchpoints that allow the Terracotta Warriors experience to be delivered in ways that are culturally respectful, widely accessible and exciting.”
