When does the cruise happen?

The winner of the Major Prize will be given the opportunity to accept a cabin booking on the 2023 Adventure South-West running 21–29 January, 2023.

What happens is COVID-19 restrictions interrupt my travel dates?

The Major Prize includes an allowance to help cover alternate travel or accommodation requirements should COVID-19 restrictions interrupt your plans to use to the Major Prize.

How does the Early Bird Prize work?

Each ticket purchased before 20:00 Saturday 20 November 2021 equals one chance to win the Early Bird Prize.  The draw will be conducted after this time on Saturday, 20 November 2021.

The Early Bird Prize winner is eligible to win the Bonus Prize and the Major Prize Package.

How does the Bonus Prize work?

The Bonus Prize is $3,000 cash.

Each ticket purchased before 20:00 Saturday 4 December 2021 equals one chance to win the Bonus Prize.  The draw will be conducted after this time on Saturday, 4 December 2021.

The Bonus Prize winner is eligible to win the Major Prize Package.

Can the winner take cash instead of the advertised prize?

No. Prizes are as stated and are not transferable for cash.

What are the odds of winning First Prize?

The odds of winning the Major Prize are directly related to the number of tickets you purchase. For example, if every ticket is sold, the odds of winning (if you purchased 1 ticket) would be 1 in 40,000.

Why are the Lottery tickets $15?

There are many worthy charities who conduct Lotteries, and each have very different prizes and price structures. With only 40,000 tickets available in the Channel 7 We love Museums Lottery, you have a better chance of winning the Major Prize than with most other Lotteries.

What happens if I win?

The Foundation for the WA Museum will notify you. If a current daytime telephone number is on record, we will call you. A letter and email are also prepared immediately following the draw and mailed on the day of the draw.

I haven’t received my tickets. What should I do?

Please allow up to 24 hours for your Lottery purchase email to come through. Depending on your email provider security settings, your e-tickets may have been filtered to the SPAM or JUNK folder.

Is anyone prohibited from buying tickets in the Lottery?

Entrants must be 18 years of age or older and cannot purchase a ticket under the name, or for a minor.

Board members and employees of the Promoter and its agents, and their immediate family members residing at the same address are prohibited from purchasing a ticket.

Is this a registered raffle program and how do you allocate Lottery tickets?

Yes. Lottery permit number: LS217517021 has been issued by the Department of Racing, Gaming & Liquor and the permit holder is Danielle Hadley at the Foundation for the WA Museum.

The Foundation for the WA Museum is committed to full compliance with all legislative and permit requirements with tickets available through the non-profit platform RaffleTix. All ticket purchases occur online.

Where do I find draw results?

Results for the Early Bird Draw, Bonus Prize Draw and the Major Prize Draw are published on the Foundation for the WA Museum website one day after each draw.

Major Prize results will be published in The West Australian on Monday 20 December. If drawn earlier, results will also be published prior to this date.

How do I make a tax-deductible donation?

The purchase of Lottery tickets is not considered a tax deduction, however donations over $2 are tax deductible and can be made:
