The Promotion will commence on Monday, 24 August 2020 and conclude at 11:59pm on Thursday 19 November 2020 unless all tickets are sold sooner. All times recorded throughout these Terms and Conditions are in Australian Western Standard Time.
Entrants must be 18 years of age or older and cannot purchase a ticket under the name, or for a minor. Entrants must be Western Australian residents. It is a condition of entry that the prize winners agree to have their name and suburb published for publicity purposes.
The following persons are prohibited from purchasing a ticket:
- Board members and employees of the Promoter and its agents, and their immediate family members residing at the same address.
Prize winners will be notified in writing and are responsible for making arrangements to claim their prize. The total retail value of all prizes is $37,800. Prizes are not exchangeable or redeemable for cash and must be accepted as awarded.
Early Bird Prize
The Early Bird Prize includes two (2) nights accommodation in a Large Room, including continental breakfast at the Alex Hotel, Perth with a retail value of $390 and a private tour of the new WA Museum, Perth which is a money cannot buy opportunity.
Only tickets purchased before 11:59pm Monday, 7 September 2020 are eligible for the Early Bird prize draw. The Early Bird prize draw will be conducted on Wednesday, 9 September 2020 and the winning ticket number will be announced on Thursday, 10 September 2020, online at: https://www.fwam.com.au/2020Lottery/
The winning ticket for the Early Bird prize will be re-entered and is eligible to win the Major Prize.
The Major Prize is valued at $32,800 and includes:
- 5 night True North Coral Atoll Adventure for 2 people, including all meals and normal fare inclusions. (retail value $13,390)
- Return Economy Flights to Broome from within Western Australia (valued up to $4k)^
- 5 night accommodation package at Cable Beach Club Resort & Spa in a garden view studio with breakfast daily, airport transfers and wifi (retail value $2,700).
- An Ascensus Aurora Green Necklace by Kailis Jewellery (retail value $12,710k)
If drawn early, the winner of the Major Prize will be given 48hrs from the time of notification to accept a room booking on the 2020 True North Coral Atoll Cruise 3 (13-18 October 2020) itinerary. The cabin style specified is an Ocean Class Twin Bed Cabin. Subject to availability, the winner may be able to transfer the offer to an identical 2021 itinerary.
The winner of the Major Prize must present documentation to meet the 100-point proof of identity. This equates to their current driver’s licence and passport or birth certificate.
Holiday value is based on AUD prices per person, twin share, and is correct as of 4 August 2020. Return economy flights to Broome from within Western Australia to the value of $4,000 are included in the prize, with dates subject to availability. Supplier terms & conditions apply. The following costs are to be borne by the passenger unless specified in the inclusion: transfers, optional tours and services, travel insurance, additional accommodation and meals outside specified in prize inclusions, excess baggage and any other travel related expenses.
^ If unexpected flight complications are experienced due to COVID-19, the cost of flight changes to the value of $2,200 will be provided.
The Multi-Chance Option offers an additional prize for the Major Prize winner, in the form of spending money to reward multiple ticket purchases in one transaction. The Multi-Chance options are offered in the following way:
- Purchase 6 tickets to receive $5,000 spending money if one of your tickets is the ticket drawn for the Major Prize
- Purchase 4 tickets to receive $2,000 spending money if one of your tickets is the ticket drawn for the Major Prize
- Purchase 2 tickets to receive $1,000 spending money if one of your tickets is the ticket drawn for the Major Prize
If the Major Prize Winner purchased Multi-Chance tickets, the corresponding spending money amount will be deposited into the winner’s nominated bank account within 3 business days of receiving the winners verified account details.
Major Prize Draw (timing subject to early sell out)
All tickets purchased during the Promotion Period are eligible to win the Major Prize. The main prize draw will be conducted from 10:00am Friday 25 November 2020, unless drawn sooner as a result of tickets being sold out.

*If all Major Prize tickets are sold before 11:59pm Wednesday 16 September 2020 then the Major Prize draw will be conducted from 10:00am on Friday 18 September 2020 and will be published online on Monday 21 September 2020, available at: https://www.fwam.com.au/2020Lottery/
All results will be published in The West Australian on Saturday 28 November 2020. If drawn earlier, results will also be published prior to this date.

Conduct of Draws
Notification and Collection
All prize draws will be conducted by an executive of the Foundation for the WA Museum office, which is located at Level 14, 140 William Street, Perth WA 6000. The Foundation’s auditors will attend both prize draws, to ensure completeness and fairness of the draws.
All prize winners will be called via telephone before being notified in writing. The Prize winners are responsible for making arrangements to claim their prize. Instructions on how to claim prizes will be included in winner letters.
If an ineligible entrant seeks to claim a prize with a purchased ticket, there will be a re-draw for that prize.
The decision of the Promoter is final and binding. The records held by the Promoter are deemed correct and final. Please telephone 08 6552 7474 for queries or corrections.
Requests for refunds will need written approval of the Gaming and Wagering Commission. This process may take a number of weeks. Refunds cannot be issued after the prize draws have begun.
Subject to any regulatory requirements, the Promoter reserves the right to alter these Terms and Conditions to address any misinterpretation, misinformation or misunderstanding, as is permitted by law.
Participation in the Promotion constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
